In this version, the favorites folder does not automatically appear. I have
followed the instructions from the discussion group on how to add it to the "my places" bar. How do I save files into this "favorites" folder now? It is no longer a right-click option or an option under tools on the open window? Is there a quick way to do this other than creating a shortcut and then cutting that shortcut and placing it in the folder? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Leigh Ann |

Excel looks there and opens every file it sees. |

I think my message may be a bit confusing - I don't want to actually save the
file there - just the shortcut to the file. Does your response still apply or were the instructions to save the actual file to that location? Thanks - Leigh Ann "Doug Kanter" wrote: "Leigh Ann" wrote in message ... In this version, the favorites folder does not automatically appear.
