Default Pivot Table Subtotals

Is it possible to format subtotals so that they are all the same in the pivot
table? For example, all subtotals should have a highlighted background.

To enable selection --
From the Pivot toolbar, choose PivotTableSelect
If it's not already activated, click on Enable Selection

To format the subtotals --
Move the pointer to the left of a subtotal heading in the pivot table.
When the black arrow appears (like the one that appears when the pointer
is over a row button), click to select the subtotal rows in the pivot
table.
Format the selected subtotals.

I guess I'm trying to use the same format for all subtotals without having to
go to each subtotal row to format it. I may have many subtotals to display.
Is there a way to specify that all subtotal rows should have a specified
format?

Never mind --- I guess I didn't have the enable selection turned on
properly...I got it to work now! Thanks.
