![]() In importing a text file to excel, I am looking for a way to expand ranges of numbers. For example, the text line "1,2,4-6" includes the number 5 (in the range 4-6). But when it is imported, using the delimiter "," the result puts the string "4-6" in one cell. Adding "-" as a delimiter, I get two cells: 4, and 6. What I actually want is three cells: 4, 5, and 6. Is there a way to either process this on import, or to convert "4-6" after importing? -- chchch ------------------------------------------------------------------------ chchch's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=31970 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=517399 |
