Hello all,

I am having a problem where whatever spreadsheet i am working on (new
or existing) on this PC. When i type any number into any cell it
formats to 100th of the number, i.e. type a 1 and it displays 0.01 - I
have repaired excel, re-installed excel and to no avail. - any help
would be really appreciated as i am lost as to where to look.

Click Tools Options Edit tab
Ensure the Fixed decimal box is unchecked OK
(It's probably checked to 2 dp)

Hi Chrisp2408,

Try:

Tools | Options | Edit | Uncheck the Fixed Decimal option
