Default Calculation set as Manual

Hi,

I'm using Excel 2002 SP3 and the calulation option is set as Manual. When I
go and change it to Automatic (which is the way I want it) it works fine
until I close and reopen Excel where upon it sets itself back to Manual.
How can I set it to save to Automatic?

I have, by the way, removed and reinstalled Office, but still the same issue.

Thanks for your time.
