Default save spreadsheet as note pad

IS THERE A WAY TO SAVE A SPREADSHEET AS A NOTE PAD DOCUMENT AND AUTOMATICALLY
HAVE TODAYS DATE AS THE FILE NAME?

Default save spreadsheet as note pad

Notepad files are plain text.

You may want to try saving the workbook as .prn, .txt, or .csv--depending on
what you want.

File|saveas| and choose the correct "save as type" from that dropdown list on
the bottom of the file|saveas dialog.

(only the active worksheet will be saved, though)
