This is not usual behavior.

I would suspect some sort of addin that's helping out if this really happens in
all the workbooks. (If it only happens in a few--not all), then it may not be
an addin. It could be a developer that's helping out.)

If it's just a few workbooks, I'd talk to the developer to see what was going
on.

If it happens in all workbooks, then...

Chip Pearson has some notes on how to diagnose startup errors at:
http://www.cpearson.com/excel/StartupErrors.htm

And Jan Karel Pieterse has more notes at:

Macros live in workbooks. So if the macro is in that workbook, then yep, that
could be a problem.

But one of the suggestions in both Chip's and Jan Karel's notes is to disable
macros, then open the workbook.

That way you can see if it is a macro.

close excel
windows start button|run
excel /safe

file|open yourworkbook.xls

Test it out.

If it worked ok, then it could have been a macro.

Make sure you read Chip's and Jan Karel's notes for a better explanation.

Hi Dave

I´m sorry. I´m very stupid. I dont look correctly. If I turn on or off
Autofilter, Excel not saving, but deactivating Undo and Redo(Can´t Undo). I
had open Excel in Safe Mode, but same problem. I had try open empty file, but
same problem.I had disable macros, but that same. I hope, you undestand, what
I mean

There's lots of things that kill the Edit|Undo stack.

I don't know a way of changing excel's behavior. It's just one of those things
we have to live with.
