Try the unselect code from Chip Pearson.
Two sets of code.........one for deselecting single cells and one for deselecting ranges. http://www.cpearson.com/excel/unselect.htm Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Fri, 3 Feb 2006 09:13:34 -0800, "excelconfusedgirl" wrote: this is an assignment i have.. i have looked all over and tried the office assitant and alot of things even read a manual and i couldnt find it. Hold down the CTRL key as you select or deselect cells one at a
time. You can't unselect a cell with the CTRL key. -- Cordially, Chip Pearson Microsoft MVP - Excel Pearson Software Consulting, LLC www.cpearson.com "Doug Kanter" wrote in message ... later versions? "Chip Pearson" wrote in message ... Hold down the CTRL key as you select or deselect cells one at a time.
