Default how to convert 19900301 to 03/01/1990

Here's an easy way:

Select your data then go to Data/Text to Columns, select "Fixed Width" hit
NEXT NEXTX then select "Date" in the upper right corner and in the drop down
menu select YMD and hit "Finish".
