Hi,

I encounter a problems with all my excel files that suddently changed to 1k
in size and the content in it also change to unrecognized wordings.

Please advise what could have caused this and how can I revived back all
my excel files. I have checked on the *.xlk files are OK. Only *.xls
affected.

Just a wild guess....

If you didn't do something really strange, when was the last time you ran an
antivirus program?

And I hope you have backups. I'm not sure an antivirus program can get your
files back to the original state.

I cannot managed to get back my backup.
I hope you can offer me a solution to it.

I run antivirus weekly

If you don't have backups, I don't know a way of getting that data back.

Maybe you can recover some of your data via the .xlk files.
