Default Entering zeros in cells

When entering zeros in a cell Excel rounds the figure to just a single 0.
What do you do if you enter 4 zeros but want the 4 zeros to be displayed?

Default Entering zeros in cells

a. FormatCellsNumber tab, Custom. In the Type box, enter 0000
or
b. precede the zeros with an apostrophe; this will make the cell text. The
apostrophe will not show
or
c. format the cell as text before you enter the zeros
or...
maybe more
