Default Office 2000

excel 2000 find and replace does not give popup message if it did find the
text that we looking for as it did in XP office for small business. How do I
get this message to popup in Excel 2000.

You don't.

Excel's Edit|Find was greatly enhanced with xl2002.

You may want to try Jan Karel Pieterse's FlexFind:

It has a lot of nice features.
