Keep them hidden.
They won't print. Gord Dibben Excel MVP On Wed, 30 Nov 2005 12:57:11 -0800, "Amste" wrote: I have hidden columns in my spreadsheet and do not want these to print when I print the spreadsheet, how is this done? Thanks |

Thanks for your response however I have tried that already and they do print.
Any other suggestions? "Gord Dibben" wrote: Keep them hidden. They won't print. Gord Dibben Excel MVP On Wed, 30 Nov 2005 12:57:11 -0800, "Amste" wrote: I have hidden columns in my spreadsheet and do not want these to print when I print the spreadsheet, how is this done? Thanks |

If you change the foreground colour to the background colour for the
columns you do not want to see, then they should not appear on a printout. This does not really fix your problem, though. Pete |

Have no other suggestions because hidden columns normally do not print.

![]() Amste, Try right clicking on the column heading for the column you wish to hide and choosing "Hide" on the menu that appears. To unhide, highlight the two columns headings on either side, right click somewhere in the two column headings and choose "Unhide". Hi Gord,
The right way to hide columns so they won't print is by right clicking and choosing hide columns. I was highlighting the columns I wanted to hide and dragging them to the next column so they wouldn't appear however, they will print when you do this. Thanks for your help. I was wondering if you just changed the width and did not actually hide them.
Now I know. Thanks, Gord On Fri, 2 Dec 2005 14:22:02 -0800, "Amste" wrote: Hi Gord, The right way to hide columns so they won't print is by right clicking and choosing hide columns. ![]() Are you, by any chance, "hiding" them by letting them scroll off the screen and then setting Frames?
