I work in engineering and use many spreadsheets to do alot of work for me.
The problem is that if I'm working with imperial measure, I have to convert to metric then covert back to imperial. Is there any ways to easily work with feet and inches that i'm not seeing? |

Have you thought of entering data in this form 5 2/12 for 5' 2"
You will need to custom format the cells as # ?/12 to prevent Excel changing the example to 5 1/6 Use the same format for cells where you convert back to US measurements, so 4.75 will show as 4 8/12 Also see Chips stuff at www.cpearson.com best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "Kevan" wrote in message ...
