Formatting
When adding "04-91" in a cell, then selecting a different cell... the
formatting converts my edit from "04-91" to "Apr-91. How can I change this formatting to keep my edit to 04-91? Please assist. |

You could try one of theses:
1)FormatCellsCategory: select TEXT or 2)Precede your entry with an apostrophe (') Example: A1: '04-91 Will ignore the apostrophe and display the remaining text Do either of those help? Either prefix your entry with an apostrophe:
'04-91 or preformat the cell (or whole column???) as text. Javster095 wrote: When adding "04-91" in a cell, then selecting a different cell... the formatting converts my edit from "04-91" to "Apr-91. How can I change this formatting to keep my edit to 04-91? Please assist. -- Dave Peterson |
