If you're creating the file for others, maybe you could copy the range, but
paste as a picture. If you're reading a document that already has that excel file embedded, then I don't know of an plug-in that'll do what you want. pintree3 wrote: HiDave Thanks for taking the time to reply to my posting. Unfortunately I truly was looking for a way (possibly small plug-in) to view it within Word. I do have the whole office suite. I can install Excel if I choose to. The free viewer (no changes allowed) from Microsoft: http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/of...347961033.aspx and the older version if you can't run the one above: http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...S/xlViewer.exe (One line in your browser) or... Maybe a free spreadsheet program would work for you: http://www.openoffice.org, a 60-65 meg download or a CD pintree3 wrote: Hi there, Is there any way to see Excel files within Word 2003 without installing Excel? -- Dave Peterson -- Dave Peterson |
