I usually just copy tables from Word to Excel, and then remove the Borders as setup. That you are asking this question would seem to indicate yours did not copy well, thus I would point out to you that Word is a processor of text with some arithmetic capability, and Excel a processor of numbers with some text capability. To simply copy and paste a document with Styles and paragraphs of long text will be unlikey to produce a similar look in Excel with it's size, display and print limitations. Was there a purpose to this copy? - and has that purpose been achieved, or could you be more specific about any errors encountered. cynjor312 Wrote: I copied and pasted ou remployment app which is in Word 2000 and pasted it in Excel. COPY & PASTE WORD Doc into EXCEL
well i am a beginner in excel and a friend of mine suggested this method so i
tried it. What i notice is there are lines that go way across the page that look as if they've been bolded. i've tried deleting them but they wont go anywhere. you say at setup you remove the borders, what's your procedure? To remove those 'bold' lines, select the rows that have the lines, then right-mouse - Format Cells, - Border - and remove all borders that you do not require. cynjor312 Wrote: well i am a beginner in excel and a friend of mine suggested this method so i tried it.
