Default Number of Columns

Dear all,

We are using Excel 97, and we need to know if there is possible add more
columns than the 256 that already are available from A - IV.

We need that because we are exporting data from one aplication to Excel.

Thanks a lot.

no, 256 is the limit.

you may be able to use ms query to 'query' the data source and select
only the colums you need, or to build separate queries that return the
data over multiple sheets
