Default How to ensure that very large blocks of text "wrap" in a cell?

I am importing large blocks of text from Word and Wordperfect into Excel
cells. The "wrap text" function works fine for the first one hundred or so
characters, but then fails.

Even though you format as text wrap, you still need to insert a manual line
