Default grid confusion with excel

problem is on excel, the X axis is numbers i.e 1,2,3,4, and not letters A B
C D E F etc like every1 elses and the Y axis is also number 1,2,3,4,5 (which
it should be for Y) but i want to change the numbers to letters for the X
axis.

Let me explain diagrammatically

1 2 3 4 5 6 (thats what i am getting) A B C D E F (thats what i want)
1 1
2 2
3 3

Thanks guys
