if your grade scale is

0 F
60 D
70 C
80 B
90 A

and is placed in say A1:B5

=vlookup(grade cell, $A$1:$B$5,2,true)

where grade cell is the cell with the numeric grade

gives you the letter grade for a numeric grade

72 will result in C, etc
