Autofill or Autocomplete - not sure what to call it.

The Autocomplete feature simply reads from the cells immediately <above
the current cell. You can turn off this feature by clicking
ToolsOptions and selecting the Edit tab; uncheck "Enable AutoComplete
for cell values"
