I've been able to "freeze panes" for horizontal rows, so the column headings
stay in place as I scroll down. But when I also try to "freeze panes" for vertical columns, so the row headings will stay in place, after I select the column to freeze, the only choice I have is "unfreeze panes". Is this because you can't do both horizontal and vertical freezes on the same spreadsheet. Or is there a different way to accomplish this? |

So then, to freeze cols/rows at B2 so colA and row1 do not scroll, select B2 and 'Freeze Panes'! -- Garry Free usenet access at http://www.eternal-september.org Classic VB Users Regroup! comp.lang.basic.visual.misc microsoft.public.vb.general.discussion |

Thanks, that worked. I had to unfreeze the horizontal rows first, then it
was ok. "GS" wrote in message ... I've been able to "freeze panes" for horizontal rows, so the column headings stay in place as I scroll down. Yes, any time you want to change this you must first 'Unfreeze' any existing state then re-apply the 'Freeze' to your new selection. -- Garry Free usenet access at http://www.eternal-september.org Classic VB Users Regroup! comp.lang.basic.visual.misc microsoft.public.vb.general.discussion |
