Default Inserting slashes in dates in Excel

I have a column of dates in the format: yyyymmdd

ie. 20110731

I would like to convert this to a date format that is sortable:

ie. 2011/07/31

Could you tell me how to do this?

DataText to ColumnsDelimitedNextNextDate choose YMD and OK
