Email notifications, does this forum have that deature?
I have parsed around what clickable buttons I can find and cannot find if there is an email notification when someone responds to a post I have made.
Similar to Mr. Excel forum. Or is the Stared Post feature the alternative. Thanks, Howard |

I use a newsreader. When I am at home the reader is started and he looks every 5 minutes for new headers. For new posts the headers are red so I see them immediatly. In Google you can create email notifications into the options Regards Claus B. -- Win XP PRof SP2 / Vista Ultimate SP2 Office 2003 SP2 /2007 Ultimate SP2 |

I get lost very quickly in these realms, more so than trying to do an array inside an array. Checking back is not that much a problem, if I have a reply the title box is white, grayed if read or no reply. Thanks. Howard |

According to your message ID, you post to Google Groups. That is your news service. I don't use Google Groups. But after a brief experiment, it does appear that you can set up email notification. After logging into Google Groups, the left icon near the upper right is called My Settings. When I click on that, I see Notification Settings. You might need to set that for each newsgroup you participate in. |

Doesn't take me long before I am looking at an website selling used fighter jets in the Sudan. Worth a try though. Thanks. Howard |
