Changing Text To Numbers ?
Hello,
Using Excel 2007. Copied a list of "numbers" from a site. They all "look like" numbers, e.g., 23.456. Excel is apparently interpreting this as text, when I Paste what I copied into it. It appears on the left hand side of the cell. I guess that this means that it thinks it is Text. True ? I tried re-formatting these copied cells as Numbers in Excel, but they still appear on the left hand side of the cells. What do I have to do to have Excel handle these as numbers, and not as text ? Thanks, Bob |
