Changing Text to Numbers
First make sure the text has no extra blanks or special characters.
Then enter 1 in an un-used cell, copy this cell and paste/special multiply over the cells you want to convert. -- Gary's Student "Hawksby" wrote: I am currently exporting data from Excell from a system that i use. Changing Text to Numbers
Thanks Gary,
If there is a date format, which is set-up as UK format but my computer is set-up as US region (due to the systems i use) is there a way of converting this? Date format is 12-21-2006 etc "Gary''s Student" wrote: First make sure the text has no extra blanks or special characters. Consider using the DATEVALUE() function in a helper cell.
See Excel Help -- Gary's Student "Hawksby" wrote: Thanks Gary, If there is a date format, which is set-up as UK format but my computer is set-up as US region (due to the systems i use) is there a way of converting this?
