Excel 2003 crashes when opening
When I try to access Excel, I get the message that "Microsoft Office Excel
has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." The only way that I access Excel is in Safe Mode. While in Safe Mode, I uncheck all add-ins however all addins are re-marked when I exit and re-enter Excel (safe mode as well since I am unable to access Excel in normal mode). I have also tried repairing Excel / Office & have tried re-installing Excel over the top of the existing installation. However, I have not tried to completely uninstall and then re-install. Please advise - this is quite frustrating! Thank you! |

Thank you! I wound up having to rename the Excel folder in the registry - I am currently running 2003 but still had folders for 8, 9, & 10. Went ahead and labled them all. I appreciate your help!
