Default connecting to databases

can anyone suggested a good textbook to learn how to use excel to connect to
databases.

Also a good book to learn about the basics of databases?

Any suggestions with learning this material would be greatly appreciated.

for example some people have suggested learning more about SQL than MS Access?

Your input would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

Hi dstiefe,

A tutorial here on using pivot tables connected to databases.
http://edferrero.m6.net/tutorials.shtml

My suggestion for learning databases - start with Access.
