Where is the "what's this" button?
In all other office versions there was a fancy little function called Whats
this, a pointer with an arrow that when you clicked on a button or something in the window it would give you a screentip with a description of what that thing was. No longer in Office 2003? If there is a comperable something then I would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction. Thanks so much! |

The "What's This" feature has been removed from the Help menu, and from
the dialog boxes, in Excel 2003, and there's nothing comparable to replace it. In dialog boxes that still show the button, clicking it will open Help, instead of providing information on a clicked item. If you'd like to suggest its reinstatement, you can send suggestions to: Put "Excel" in the subject line, so your suggestion can be forwarded to the Excel product managers.
