Default Save

Hello All,

I am having a problem I have never experienced before. I
am not being prompted to save when I close out of a
workbook. This is a big problem as I usually save when I
am closing a workbook. It does not happen all the time.
Could it be due to workbooks created in earlier versions
of Excel?

Thanks in advance

I've never had any trouble like this with workbooks created in earlier versions.

But sometimes developers can tell excel that the workbook shouldn't be saved (or
tell excel that the workbook doesn't need to be saved).

Try opening your workbook with macros disabled to see if you get a prompt.

If you do, go back to the developer to ask him/her what's going on.
