I get the same message even when trying to open a document from my hard drive
as well. I have tried to reload my office and that did not work either. Worf "Earl Kiosterud" wrote: Worf, That sounds like a media error. If you're trying to open it directly from a diskette, CD ROM, etc., try copying it to the hard drive (Desktop, My Documents, wherever).
