Error 1706. No valid source could be found for the product Microso

Office 2000 SP3
Windows XP Home SP2
Symantec AV Corporate

Using an AUTHENTIC Office 2000 Pro CD, the error appears.

When opening Excel 2000, the Windows Installer appears.

Scanned for virues, none found. No spyware per Spybot & Microsoft's
AntiSpyware program.
