Default Saving Excel 2003 file in .txt format

I'm saving an Excel 2003 file to a .txt file format. But data for some of
the rows are not formatting properly - the data shifted over to the left for
some of the rows. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks.

Probably the .txt file does not have enough spaces or tabs to align the data
correctly.

Save as text (Tab Delimited) to see if there is enough improvement

Thanks for the suggestion, but 'text (tab delimited) *.txt' is the option I
used. If I created a new workbook and copy the data from the original file,
then save the new workbook as a 'text (tab delimited) *.txt' file, it works.
It's just very troublesome.
