Default Continuous View

I would like to know how to view rows continuously as I scroll down an Excel
sheet. I have a spreadsheet that has column names at the top of the page.
The titles use up rows 1-3. How can I always see rows 1-3 when I scroll down
to the bottom of my data? I have seen it on other Excel spreedsheets but I
don't know how to do it.

select cell A4 and then, from the menu, Window | Freeze panes

You can either split the excel window or use the freeze panes facility. See
