Default How to get rid of an link message in Excel?

Hi,
I've copied and pasted two work sheets and merged them into a master
workbook in Excel, and have micro in the master workbook. Now each time when
I open the master workbook in Excel, it will have a message: "The workbook
you opened contains automatic links to information in another workbook. Do
you want to update the workbook with changes made to the other workbook?"...
Is there a way to get rid of this message? Any help will be greatly
appreciately.
Thanks,
Jenny

It sounds like you had formulas referencing another sheet in your original
workbook. You can do a Find/Replace, using[*] as the find and leaving
replace with empty. You may need to do this in 1 sheet in the workbook.

Hi Pegl,
Thanks for your quick response and help. I tried this way and get rid of
all the references from the charts (data source link) and all the
calculations. Once I saved the file and I still get the message when I open
the file. Do you have any other suggestions? Is there anywhere (hidden
references) that I didn't get rid of yet? Thank you very very much for all
your help!!!
Jenny

When I can't find links, I'll use Bill Manville's FindLink program:
