Default excel comparing with access


Hi

i have an excel spreadsheet with thousands of numbers, i have a
database of thousands of numbers also and i need to see which of the
numbers in the spreadsheet are in the database.

is this possible ?
please say if you dont understand what i'm trying to do, need to this
complete a project at work :)

You might find it easier to work backwards: instead of comparing Excel
to Access, compare the Access table to Excel. You can link an Excel
file to an Access database, and use wizards in Access to create "Find
Matched" and "Find Unmatched" queries.
