Slow opening excel files
I have an excel file that is 10MB. On my laptop the file opens in a matter of
moments. On all my co-workers PC's, it takes about 3-5 min. The laptop and PC's are equal in performance but for some reason the laptop opens the file much faster. I cant figure out what setting is causing this to happen. Please help???? Thanks!! |

Try deleting the files in the temp folder.
Close excel (and don't be installing any new software) window start button|run %temp% is a quick way to get to that temp folder. Jeff wrote: I have an excel file that is 10MB.
