How to change default page setup for pivot tables?
Whenever I create a pivot table in a new sheet...the new sheet doesn't
default to the page setups that I created in my "book.xlt" and/or "sheet.xlt" files that exist at C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\XLSTART. Is there any way that I can establish a default page setup for new sheets that are created with pivot tables? Thanks, Bob. |

Not that I know of.
But could you build your pivottable, then insert a new worksheet (getting the default sheet.xlt), then copy the pivottable from the "bad" sheet to the new "good" sheet. Then delete the bad sheet. It seemed to work ok for me in my quick check with xl2002. === Alternatively, maybe you could add a macro to your personal.xls that changes the page/print settings the way you want. Then you could just run that macro against the PT sheet. (It might even be useful for other worksheets--ones you get from co-workers???). bobs wrote: Whenever I create a pivot table in a new sheet...the new sheet doesn't default to the page setups that I created in my "book.xlt" and/or "sheet.xlt" files that exist at C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\XLSTART.
