OLAP for Excel
Does anybody know of an OLAP-esque tool that would be a little more robust
than Pivottables? The limitations of Pivottables that I am trying to overcome are getting %'s within subtotals as well as the way Pivottables calculate custom formulas. Pivottables assume a SUM function in formulas. |

You can download for free the Microsoft Excel Add-In for SQL Server - Analysis Services from Microsoft. You will need to have access to Analysis Services on your server to be able to build your data cubes. The Add-In will allow you to interact efficiently with the cubes via Excel. -- Flamikey ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Flamikey's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...fo&userid=4612 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=377283 |
