Default check properties of 400 Excel files

I have 400 Excel files that I wish to check the properties of.
Is there a way of checking them in bulk?

Perhaps a macro that will print the details of each file, or better still
send the details to a file.
The preferred data would be: Title, Author, Created, modified, last saved
by.

Regards, Mark

Yes, a macro would be a good approach. You're surely not posting the message
in the hope that someone will write it for you?

While you might get better response in the Excel programming group,
here's a start.
