Default Formatting Continuity

Is there any way in Excel to keep a formatting standard in "page setup?" I
need for eveything I print out at work to be of a certain "dpi" and landscape
and with gridlines and reduced to a certain size. I know that with printers,
you can right click on them in control panel and set default setting for
them. is there any way to do this type of function in Excel without having to
enable a macro everytime I open a new workbook?

In an empty unused workbook, make your page setting as you want them to be.
Then save the file as Book.xlt by using Save As, select Template for the
Save As Type, then redirect the folder to be your xlstart directory, which
is something like C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\XLSTART
then exit excel -- from now on, every new workbook will be a "copy" of this
template, sp you will have your page setups.

FYI: I'm leading a FREE 1-hour online Webinar on Excel Tips & Tricks on
June 15, 4-5PM. If interested, go to http://www.iil.com, click on the
yellow/orange
"Try a free webinar" link on the left side, click the Microsoft Excel
Tips & Tricks link, follow instructions to register.
