Can I just select Column D and increase it by 10% or do I have to use another

Put 1.1 in an empty cell

in an empty cell enter 1.1
copy that cell select column D (or just the data you want to increase in Column D) and paste special mutiply I is dangerous to select entire columns or rows when using some paste special chaices because it can make the entire column or row active.
