select part of a cell value string
Hi,
I have a column of text (postcodes/zipcodes) in the following formats L3*1MT or L12*3DE. What i want to do is have a second column that reads the first column value and removes the *data, leaving just the L3 or L12. How can i do this?? Thanks Rich |
