I am trying to do a Windows search to find an Excel file containing a specific number. *I have looked everywhere...no luck. *I did the File Search option within Excel...no luck. *There has to be a way to do this...any ideas? *Thanks. Are you using StartSearch or Windows Search with the installed application? You can install Windows Search from Microsoft which should scan all excel files and return what you're looking for.
