Default Being able to Undo after Saving

Excel 2007 allows you to Undo even after you've Saved the file. What is the
point of Saving if you're still able to Undo? It's creating highly
irritating problems, in addition to all the other annoying changes in 2007.
I've accidentally Undone quite a bit of work because I thought it was safe
after Saving. When I went to Repeat, that didn't work to restore my work.
PLEASE go back to the way it was or give users the option.

Default Being able to Undo after Saving

Jennifer,

I save regularly to guard against lost work as I guess do a lot of people
and always found it annoying in E2003 that this deleted the undo stack.

While I think you will get some agreement with "other annoying changes in
2007" I think preserving the undo stack is an improvement in 2007 and I don't
see any downside.

If you save then 'undo' the workbook is marked by Excel as not-saved so if
you close you get the warning to save so shouldn't lose work.

When competing hypotheses are otherwise equal, adopt the hypothesis that
introduces the fewest assumptions while still sufficiently answering the
question.
