I would make a template w/sheet into which you can paste incoming data and
run macro. To create the macro, paste the data then start recording macro - make you changes and once completed stop recording then delete the data (make sure you have the original data just in case it goes pear shaped). Just for this first time. Save the template. Now paste again and hit the macro key you chose. Now you can go back to that template daily - make sure you save it as anothe rname so that your template with macro is not damaged. -- Russell Dawson Excel Student Please hit "Yes" if this post was helpful. I am trying to consolidate these steps into a macro but can't seem to get it to work. I shrink the column widths for all columns (the largest of which is about 20 pixels wide). I do this so that when the spreadsheet prints on one page the type is not so small you I can't read it. Then I change the page setup to landscape, legal, and fit 1o 1 page. Is it even possible to make a macro to do this? |
