Default in 2003 i have 0 text file conrt to 2007 number

i have a file in 2003 excel, one field is in text delimited format. How do i
convert this without lossing the '0' at the beginning of the number.

Do you have an Excel file (.xls) or a CSV file?

If it's Excel, 2007 will read it in properly. If it's CSV, specify the field
as text during the open.
