Default How to treat this excel error: 0xc0000005

Hi dears,

One of my customers faced this problem:

'Every time i open an Excel file the software freezes and i get an erroro
report. See attached screen dump of error report. This makes my work very
hard, since if i have any excel file already open it will close down without
saving.'

error code: 0xc0000005

I have asked him to do as follows:

open excel -- click 'Help' -- choose 'Detect and Repair' -- select both
of the options including 'Discard my customized settings and restore default
settings'

He told me it didnt work, and later I suggested him to do so:

go to start menu -- type 'excel.exe /safe' in run box and check whether it
wont pop up a window while you are operating in excel

Unfortunately, it still didnt work at the end.

I have no idea how to solve this kind of problem. Could anybody give me any
hints?

Thanks in advance! ;-)
