I am setting up an excel database which has cells to enter email address. How
can I set it up so that once the email address has been entered I can click on the cell and go to a template in MS Outlook, pre-populated with the email address? |

Jim -
Not sure if this will help, but begin entering information into the cell with "mailto:" followed by the email, so as an example cell A1 would read Once you hit return, MS should recognize and create a hyperlink that will open your outlook when clicked on. If you want to get fancy, you can follow the email address with ?subject= enter text here (example: ?subject=This is a test email) . This will also populate the subject field in the email message. (I mention "Not sure" at the top because the link works on my work computer but not on my home computer -- that may be because my home computer doesn't have a mail profile set up) Good Luck, Matt "Jim Stevenson" wrote: I am setting up an excel database which has cells to enter email address.
